Supplement Recipe Check Guide
How to Use This Site
A faster way to find the iHerb products you actually meant to compare.
The Short Version
Enter ingredients, run a search, then open the brand filter if the result list is too broad. You do not need to flip through pages until your preferred brand appears.
Basic Search Flow
- Enter ingredients. Examples: vitamin C, folate, calcium, magnesium. English names, Korean names, and many common aliases are supported.
- Choose include or exclude. Include is the default. Use exclude for ingredients you want to avoid, such as iron.
- Search. Each product shows ingredient match badges so you can quickly see why it appears.
- Open the brand filter. The brand filter only shows brands that exist in the current results. The number beside each brand is the result count.
- Adjust sorting and product type. Use popular brands, price, all products, single-ingredient focus, complex products, and food-like product filtering as needed.
Useful Features
Brand Filter
Use this first when you already prefer certain brands. It is much faster than paging through results.
Price Sort
Sorts the full result set by low price. Keep food-like filtering on if bars, shakes, or gummies are getting in the way.
Food-Like Filter
Reduces products such as powders, shakes, bars, and gummies when they are not the supplement format you want.
Advanced Search
For power users. Add amount conditions such as greater than or less than for specific ingredients.
Single-Ingredient Focus
Useful when you want standalone ingredient products instead of multivitamins or large complexes.
Ingredient Suggestions
Describe a general wellness goal and receive ingredient candidates for reference.
Example
If you want products with vitamin D and magnesium but without iron, set vitamin D and magnesium to include, set iron to exclude, then search. After that, open the brand filter and choose brands such as Thorne or NOW Foods.
Reminder
Search results are reference information for product discovery. Confirm price, availability, Supplement Facts, and import rules on the iHerb product page before purchasing.
